Therapy
I listen with heart and presence in a non-judgmental manner. By hearing your story, I learn from you what meanings, goals, and life plan you have or hope to have for your future. Many of us are struggling with relationship issues: with ourselves and with others. As you invite me to participate in your journey of self discovery and purpose, I will support you to explore your personal story so that you move towards a more thriving life.
My practice is focused on Teen Girls and Women Issues to address Trauma/PTSD, Anxiety/Panic Disorders, Anger/Emotion Control, Depression, Grief and Loss, Ethnic Identity, & Racial Trauma.
Therapeutic modalities I incorporate with my clients include Trauma Informed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Multicultural Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy and Systems Theory. My practice is dedicated to improving the lives of Teen Girls, Women and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or People of Color). As a woman of color, I welcome the opportunity to discuss how oppression and racism impact our mental health and wellbeing.
